You know if your human is feeling upset, all you need do is to go and sit quietly beside them. Make sure they know you are there. If they keep on being upset, growl lightly like you are talking to them, then sit quietly - repeat if necessary - and soon they'll be feeling better.

If they are really bad give a light woof and then go sit near the phone and woof at it. They'll soon get the message to call their friend.

I came across this interesting article, and had a giggle reading it, I know that I dream. Grandma has told me that I sometimes when I am asleep I growl and kick and even try to run laying down, which she says is really funny...

Do Dogs Dream? Dogs dream like humans and about similar things. Published on October 28, 2010 in Psychology Today... here's a snippet...

Many people believe that dogs do dream. Most dog owners have noticed that at various times during their sleep, some dogs may quiver, make leg twitches or may even growl or snap at some sleep-created phantom, giving the impression that they are dreaming about something. At the structural level, the brains of dogs are similar to those of humans. Also, during sleep the brain wave patterns of dogs are similar that of people, and go through the same stages of electrical activity observed in humans, all of which is consistent with the idea that dogs are dreaming.

Actually if dogs didn't dream this would be a much greater surprise given that recent evidence suggests that animals that are simpler and less intelligent than dogs seem to dream.

Hi Mum and Dad, here I am at the Spa, Grandma and Poppy took me yesterday... How much fun did I have with the bubbles and everything. Gosh I just love biting the bubbles in the spa, have you ever done that Dad & Mum? Next time you get in the spa, bite them, they try to get away, but if you keep at it, they'll end up all over your face.

Oh and by the way DAD did you know that we doggies can't drink alcohol, 'cause it can be dangerous to us. My grandma's vet told her.

Hi mum and dad, grandma said I missed your phone call yesterday, sorry about that. Granma says that you're having a good time, and that I should stay here, as they eat people like me over there. Scary thought, I had nightmares after she told me that!

Gee wizz though, I have been so busy, these new chewy things I have are just delicious. Grandma said though, that chewing screen doors, and mosquito coils, is a bad idea. Why's that dad? Also she said that the pot plants aren't a good idea either.

Ah well, I have got my chicken basty strips so that's OK and grandma goes and finds me a new one really quickly, in fact, as soon as I start chewing other things. I don't mind the mosquito coils tho, and they crunkle nicely in your mouth.

Ah gees Dad, grandma scared me stupid this morning, she showed me these pictures of a dingo eating my mum and my grandpa, and I started to cry. But grandma explained, it was just a joke..

Grandma just showed me your email that says you got to Mauritus ok... I am glad, cause I was worried about you falling asleep on the plane and ending up in Iceland and then having no warm clothes. Grandma said if you'd only fly Emirates Gold Class you wouldn't have to be all scrunched up on the cattle class plane, but then Grandma explained how you like to be with the 'common folk' best and that's why you fly like you do, so you can give your money to the dogs without homes.

You're wonderful dad.

PS... tell mum I am glad the dingo didn't really eat her leg.

Kicking Back Watching Tele... I'm Pooped

Tonight I am kicking back, enjoying a few brews and snoozing on the lounge. I am sooo tired. I was up nearly all night last night, it was so exciting, the police drove down the golf course with their flood lights on, looking for a baddie, dad and mum! Well grandma said he wasn't really a baddie, just someone who was very upset.

I got a bit scared with all his yelling and banging, cause I was worried that he was hurting someone. But then the police came and I could hear the police lady say, 'now I am just trying to help you', so then I didn't worry and I relaxed again... but I couldn't get back to sleep after it, as it was so exciting, and so grandma made some tea and toast, and we all sat in bed and watched April Showers and made the bed all crummy.

Fuzzy meets the Kangaroos

Wow today I saw lots of these weird looking things that grandma said were Kangaroos. It's a bit of a rainy day today, and the kangaroos are on our side of the causeway, as the creek is high and the grass is damp where they normally sit and play.

They hopped by, real close to our house, and I wanted to chase them, cause they looked so chaseable, and looked like they'd play with me, but grandma said 'No fuzzy, they have big talons, and could hurt you badly'.

Then they started to fight, and grandma told me 'we shouldn't fight with one another', and I got a bit worried watching them, cause one of them was pushing the other.

Secretly though, have you ever felt like pushing someone when you are fighting with them?

When I feel down, I just get out the vacuum head. I find throwing it around the house, cheers me up wonderfully.

Why don't you try it? It's fun!! You just get a vaccum fuzzy head sucker, then toss it around the house, and chase it. It's great exercise too.

Hi.. my name is Fuzzy Mad Dog Morgan and I am a black poodle. Now it may seem strange that I am writing a blog, however, you see, my mum and dad have gone away and I am staying with my grandma in Port Macquarie. I asked her if we could start a blog so I can let my mum and dad know what I am doing here while they are galavanting all over the world.

This is my picture from when they left, and I was feeling sad... and I looked for them all over the house.... but they were no where to be found.
